Vermont Children’s Museum Gala
A magical evening of dancing, live music, and activities for the young and young at heart. Dress your best and have fun supporting this fundraiser for Vermont Children’s Museum.
Afternoon Tea Party
Fancy hats, feather boas, and all dress up encouraged! Please bring your Friends and Family for an afternoon of fun, activities, and cheer! Suggested donation is $5.00 per person which will be matched by The Residence at Otter Creek, with 100% of proceeds going to the Museum’s fund-raising efforts.
Move Your Body Celebration Dance
Join Vermont Children’s Museum on Saturday, Feb 24 from 2pm-3:45pm at Middlebury Fitness to celebrate a winter of moving with a glow-light dance party!
$10 per child entry payable by cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal
We will be raffling off prizes at the dance. To get a raffle ticket, you can do any of the following (you can get more than one ticket):
For every 4 hours of movement (that’s 240 minutes)
For every 5 in a row on the Move Your Body Challenge BINGO
Take a video of an activity or a healthy snack/meal and tag Vermont Children’s Museum on social media (if you do not have social media, you could email us the video with permission to post). Children’s faces do not need to be in the video.

Join Vermont Children’s Museum on Saturday, Jan 6 from 2pm-4pm at Middlebury Fitness to participate in fun, play-based activities for children to inspire you to keep your body healthy and moving this winter. Obstacle course, yoga, dramatic play kitchen, dramatic play doctor’s office, and more!
Free entry but donations encouraged, $5 to make a smoothie on the smoothie bike.

Apple P.A.L. Time
Moved to Sunday due to forecasted rain.
Meet us at Sunrise Orchards in Cornwall for some apple/fall themed play!
Free to attend, donations encouraged.
Come early or stay late to also enjoy apple picking, lunch, and exploring the sculptures.

P.A.L. Time
Cause and Effect themed Play And Learn Time- come play with your child while they experiment with our STEM exhibit prototypes. Caregivers can learn about the areas of child development and make friends with other parents with children of the same age!
Note: small parts available at some stations so not all stations are advisable for young children who still put things in their mouths.
Dance-a-thon
Join us Saturday, November 5th at the Middlebury American Legion from 3pm to 5pm for a Glow Light Dance Party!
Registration $10
Registration is required to attend, but individual fundraising is not required to participate in the dance.

“Town Hall Theater will be hosting an event to welcome new residents of Addison County - and current ones, too! We’ll introduce them to all our community has to offer. We want to be sure that everyone is aware of the great arts organizations, volunteer and community service organizations, clubs, and outdoors and educational opportunities available to them.”
Field Days
We will be providing free activities for children next to the Children’s Barnyard.
Pandemic Babies
We are starting a regular drop-in family play time for families with young children so children (and adults!) can make local friends their age. A pediatrician from either Porter Pediatrics or Rainbow Pediatrics will be at each play session to share information about developmental milestones and ways you can help your child grow.
